Make, Do & Mend offers you the opportunity to get outside and garden on a double plot or just simply enjoy some fresh air in a peaceful place with friendly company at The Whitehill Allotments in Cambridge.

We have several productive areas for growing fruit, vegetables and flowers to attract pollinators and wildlife using organic methods. We have put up a shed with the help of a donation of building materials from Travis Perkins and we have even managed to grow watermelons in the polytunnel.

For times of these Socials, check out our monthly calendar on our homepage.

Members are very welcome to take home the fresh fruit and veg they have grown, to cook and eat at home.

“I’ve been coming to the allotment for about a year now. It’s good to meet up and chat with others and get involved with something good and useful. It makes me feel better about myself being involved in the community. It’s rewarding to see the progress on the allotment and harvesting the veg later in the season.”
