Welcome back in January 2026!
🌟 Welcome to 2026 with MDAM 🌟
Dear friends,
Happy New Year! We hope 2026 has started with hope, joy, and a little sparkle for everyone. As we step into this new year together, we’re excited to welcome both familiar faces and new friends to our community.
We’re back in the main hall!
Our sessions are now held in the spacious main hall, with plenty of room to relax, create, and connect. We are delighted to confirm full access for wheelchair users, so everyone can join in the fun comfortably.
Join us for creative sessions:
Thursdays, 2–4 pm: Keyrings & Jewellery Making ✨
Bring your creativity and make beautiful keepsakes, whether for yourself or as thoughtful gifts.
Fridays, 2–4 pm: Origami Cards 🕊️
Fold, decorate, and create unique cards while enjoying friendly company and conversation.
No previous experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm, and we’ll provide all the materials and support you need. Our sessions are a wonderful way to meet people, share ideas, and take a gentle moment for yourself.
We can’t wait to see you there and start 2026 with creativity, kindness, and community.
With warmth and encouragement,
The MDAM Team

Volunteer gardening leader for our allotment needed
We’re looking for someone to lead and develop the work that we do at our double allotment on Whitehill Road.
Tony has kept our allotment going for years along with a few volunteers, but he is retiring. We need a reliable person who loves gardening and volunteering, and who has a few hours each week to spare to coordinate the development of the space with volunteers and members of our organisation.
Our vision for the future of our allotment is to make it a safe and welcoming space where people can come and learn new skills, enjoy being outside in nature and socialise together.
Interested? Please contact us by email and we can tell you more.
