The VegBox Project is a great way for members to support others in the community to sustainably grow and eat their own vegetables at home. The idea is simple; we upcycle old wooden pallets into rustic raised VegBoxes.
Members learn basic woodwork skills whilst making the boxes and we then deliver them to anyone in Cambridge who would benefit. Our VegBoxes are supplied fully lined with compost from the Amey Cespa recycling centre and horse manure as well as a variety of vegetables and herbs grown from seed on our allotment to get people started.
You can download our VegBox Leaflet below to find out more and order one for yourself.
